For the June issue of Interview magazine Marc Jacobs goes to the extremes during an Andy Warhol themed photoshoot. His hair's red, face covered with white make up, and has fierce eyelashes to top it all off.
It's just so wicked and eye catching, but honestly I don't like it that much. There's times when crazy make up in editorials work, but I don't think it worked for Marc Jacobs. He's very creative and I think the Andy Warhol theme was a good idea, but something went totally wrong in my opinion. I guess I'm more fond of his normal look without anything dramatic going on. He's absolutely hot without the make up! But change is fun and it gives us something to talk about!
The one thing I like about the photoshoot is his poses. And I can't believe he's in tights and those shoes. Really crazy.

I wasn't sure about this editorial either, but there is certainly something about the 2nd image you posted that intrigues me a lot!
i'm also not the biggest fan of these pictures. but as you say, they are special, so i guess they meet everyones expectations.

While I appreciate what the stylist was trying to go for, it just didn't all quite come together. It looks a bit forced, but I'm sure it won't take away from his cult following.
