In Japan's June issue of Vogue, the lovely Hello Kitty modeled for the entire collection of Dior's autumn and winter designs! It's the first time that Dior has used a cartoon character as one of their models and I guess it's because Hello Kitty is so popular around the world. I heard that she was going to model for the brand from a while back, but I didn't really know what to expect. The outfits look really cute on her, but I'm not so sure if it does Dior justice. I guess I personally wasn't too impressed with the end product, yet I think it's the best Kitty could do! In my opinion I think The Simpsons did a better job modeling in last years August issue of Harper's Bazaar, but that's a different story...
(I'm sorry about the bad quality of the magazine scan! It's hard to see, I know, but bare with me!)

Hi! I've added you to my blogroll on C&C. Thanks for scanning the pictures of hello kitty from Japan vogue, I'm not sure that I would have seem them otherwise, and I've been hearing so much about them!
Haha, thats funny!
LOVES it!
I've read it before and I was looking forward to seeing some pics of the little Kitty in Dior, so thanks;)
I love Hello Kitty! I'm 24 and my desk at work is decked out in Hello Kitty gear. However, it doesn't seem like a cartoon would be the best representative of a collection...especially a Dior collection!
I linked your blog in my new post about Hello Kitty. You inspired me to write about my favorite Sanrio suprise =)
