While reading up others opinion on the color pink, I was surprised to find that many people think it's gay or a big no no for men to wear pink. Some even say that white men look strange in the color pink, but other races look absolutely fine. And here's another funny point of view: Pink is a girl's color, therefore men shouldn't even try it. (Are we still in kindergarten?!)
I find this all silly and men should have the right to wear whatever they want. I think the bigger issue isn't about the color pink, but the particular shade of pink; it really makes a big difference. Do I think a man in hot pink is sexy? Not really. But hey, that might be their style...
Pink is really a great color and if it's the lighter pink it'll almost match anything. Men that wear pink obviously have self confidence in themselves and it kind of shows that they have a sense in fashion as well. I think we can just sum it up like this: Real Men Wear Pink!

I find it attractive when a guy is comfortable enough to wear pink and pull it off well. It doesn't bother me at all. Who's to say that certain genders shouldn't wear certain colors. I completely agree with you, real men wear pink!!
The ironic part is that you will find the men who have the courage to wear pink are more often than not the ones who are so comfortable with their hetro sexuality that they couldnt give a damn what others think. Great post. I love a man in a pink shirt - gay or straight. xf

pink on a man is very sexy - if it is the right shade and he has confidence (which is always attractive). i like muted ones best!

I do like pink on guys - but only on certain looks. A lot of the 'city boys' wear pink which is crudely garish and not my cup of tea at all, but a guy with character in his style pulls it off beautifully. THe guys at my work have 'pink shirt thursday' - go figure!

i have a black guy friend who wears pink, and he looks better in pink than any other guys i know who wear it.

I saw John Legend in concert last May and he wore a pink shirt and it was HOT, so I definitely think pink on guys is good. As for white guys, they can wear pink too, it's more about matching the shade to your skin tone. That's like saying Asians can't wear yellow when we so can!

I think pink is a great color on guys (just not the shocking/hot pink). Haha, I wore a pink button-up shirt today.

i don't have a problem with guys wearing pink at all, although i agree that hot pink would be iffy compared to a pale pink. it may also have something to do with the type of shirt, like a dress shirt versus a regular t-shirt or tank.

Ohh! You know, I don't mind men wearing the color pink. Not like a bright hot pink, but that light baby type of color pink does look quite fetching on a man. This guy at my job came in with a shirt that had grey and pink stripes, and phew, he looked hot to trot!! LOL

I agree! It actually really frustrates me how we give one sex one color and another sex another color. I mean, I'm female but I don't want a glittery pink phone, yet that is how it is marketed towards me. Real men do wear pink.

Men should feel comfortable wearing any color. They do look good with pink, lavender, etc... I noticed most men tend to wear white or blue at the most. Colors make the world just so much brighter, no!
My boyfriend bought a hot pink shirt by accident (it looked red online) and we both hated it. But then he tried it with a few different things and completely changed our minds!

I have no preference for pink, but I hate it when the "popular" boys wear pink shirts with popped collars and think they're sexy.
I do enjoy a pink shirt... but the other day I saw a man with a bright pink shirt and a bubblegum blue tie... such a disaster. Thank god I was wearing sunglasses to dull the glare a little ;)

Real men DO wear pink. At my big brother/big sister program one of the boys wore pink and another kid was like, "Ew pink." The kid wearing pink was like, "REAL MEN WEAR PINK!" I laughed and gave him a hug!

I remember when I was third grade, my mother found a brand new pair of brown pants that my older brother never wore. She decided that she didn't want it to go to waste and basically forced me to wear them to school the next day.
Mind you, at the time, brown was the yuckiest color on earth to me. So I made sure to wear it with my PINK sweater vest to offset the poopy color.
In hindsight, I think I was pretty fashion-forward for pairing the two colors together! *laughs*

i think its nice that a man can feel comfortable in pink, but where I am, the guys that wear pink aren't the type of guys i like! they're usually the "masculine" show-off type, which is funny i guess..

Really, Pink color mens shirts are very attractive!!
Pink can be a hard color to pull off, but I've known many manly guys who do. It really says a lot about the confidence of the person who wears it and wears it well.

Did you know in the past (I don't have specific years or country...read it a while back) that pink was a boy color and blue was a girl color? ;-)
I think it takes the right guy to pull off a pink shirt. My brother can. If a guy is too white (as in skin tone) then they just look bad...but with a slight tan, it works. :-) But I agree with others, no hot pink! Though my brother does this awesome outfit with black slacks and dress shirt and hot pink tie and it looks awesome!
