We love you Yves Saint Laurent!

The legendary Yves Saint Laurent, 71, passed away in Paris Sunday night due to a long time illness. One of the most remarkable designers of the 20th century, Yves Saint Laurent has definitely contributed to the fashion industry like no one else. During his 50 year career, Yves Saint Laurent accomplished many many things, won awards, and redefined the way women dress. From his innovative pantsuits and his revolution of haute couture, I can't even imagine what the fashion industry would be like without a designer like him.

It's a time to mourn, yes, but we also know that the show must go on. I'm looking forward to seeing Stefano Pilati's (current designer of YSL) upcoming collections and I'd love to see him recreate and bring back what Yves Saint Laurent did decades ago in honor of the great designer.
